A 500+ member local chapter organizing weekly protests, pushing legislation, electing progressive leaders, and building community across Dane County.
Indivisible is a nationwide movement of millions of people working through local chapters to resist the Trump regime and the fascist GOP agenda, protect and rebuild our democracy and work to elect progressive leaders.
Each local chapter determines its own goals and actions with ongoing support from state, regional, and national leaders. Indivisible provides tools, training, research, and strategic coordination so people can take effective action.

Thank you to everyone who joined our June 14th fundraiser, in support of the Community Immigration Law Center! Over 50 people attended in person and we raised over $13,000! (Final total will be posted once calculations are completed.)

Founded in November 2024, Indivisible Dane County WI (IDCW) is one of more than 2,500 local chapters of the Indivisible movement. There are more than 70 chapters working in Wisconsin alone.
IDCW now has more than 100 members who share progressive values. We are an action-oriented group led by dedicated volunteers who meet monthly to plan strategy and coordinate activities.
Organize weekly protests as well as rallies and marches with partner organizations.
Work with elected officials to pass legislation to undo the harm created by GOP policies and protect vulnerable populations.
Alert people to take action on key legislation by contacting our elected officials.
Support progressive candidates in Dane County and all of Wisconsin.
Collaborate with other organizations and host social gatherings.
More than 600 people came and voiced concerns to an empty chair representing Senator Ron Johnson, with 30 community members speaking out.
Organized events with community partners. No Kings 2 brought 17,000 protesters to the State Capitol with speakers and the Raging Grannies.
Helped elect Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices Susan Crawford and Chris Taylor.
Built relationships with several state legislators to introduce IDCW's Legislative Action Committee, learn about state bills to mitigate the harms of the federal Big Bad Bill Act, and to establish how we might work together in the future.
Currently we hold Friday Pickets in front of the Wisconsin GOP Headquarters. We've also held visibility events at Tesla charging stations, highway overpasses, the Madison Social Security Office and Senator Ron Johnson's office.
